Gaby Cavins is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Navy veteran, mother of 3, and Navy spouse. Her passion for birth and feeding in the military began with the traumatic birth and lactation challenges of her first son. Gaby saw the need for advocacy and education around the prenatal and postpartum periods for servicemembers and their families, and spent her time writing, consulting, and mentoring to actively make change. She has been involved with various non-profits in the birth and feeding space, and has served on the Chair of the California Breastfeeding Coalition. She comes to us with amazing passion for and experience in policy and advocacy, and we are so thrilled to have her onboard.
